You will want to stop en route in some of the pretty coastal villages such as Cushendun and visit Tor Head and Fair Head which boast some of the most stunning scenery in Ireland. Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge is high on the list of many visitors and you can stop here before reaching the Giant’s Causeway. Have your camera ready for all of these scenic attractions. Cushendun is approximately 40 minutes drive away and the Giant’s Causeway 1.5 hours. You can finish off your day by visiting Bushmills, the world’s oldest ‘legal’ distillery which is about 5 minutes away from the Giant’s Causeway.

Next to the Botanical Gardens near Queen’s University is the newly renovated Ulster Museum. You may also visit the Titanic Quarter and learn about the world’s most famous ship. Belfast is also an excellent place to shop. Day 3 If you want a relaxed day, you can spend it in the Glens of Antrim. A walk in Glenariff Forest Park to see its majestic waterfall is truly relaxing. En route you could visit the gardens at Glenarm Castle (a 10 minute drive), walk in Glenarm Forest and have a coffee in the village or the Castle Tea Rooms.
