Derrin House is a beautifully appointed, award winning Bed and Breakfast (B & B) offering four star accommodation in a quiet residential area close to the bustling town centre of Larne and the ferry terminal. Wi Fi and internet access available.

Why not enjoy breakfast in our beautifully decorated, sunny dining room where vegetarians and non-vegetarians are both catered for. Our guest lounge - where books, magazines and games are available -is the perfect place to relax and perhaps socialise with other guests.


Our accommodation comprises 6 en suite rooms and one with private shower room including two ground floor rooms with level access (one twin with private bathroom and one double en suite).

  • Double and twin rooms : £27.50 per person per night.
  • There is a single supplement.
  • Prices for family rooms on request.
  • All prices include an a la carte breakfast.

Derrin House has a full Fire Certificate. Limited off street parking is available and there is usually ample street parking which is free and safe.

Derrin House is perfect as a base for touring the Glens of Antrim and the incredible Antrim Coast and is only a few minutes drive away from the P&O Ferry Terminal at Larne Harbour. The Belfast Ferry Terminals for Seacat and Stena Line and both airports are only 30 minutes drive away. The Giants Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also easily accesable along the beautiful Antrim coast road.

Guests can use the facilities in the town’s Leisure Centre or visit the Historical Centre, squash courts, bowling green and tennis courts as well as four golf courses are also nearby. Daily bus services are available along the coast and a train service is close by for those who wish to go to Belfast or further afield.

Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please note that we are a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is only allowed in the porch.
